About Cassidy
Cassidy is an instant friend, and a good friend to have. Her joyful spirit is contagious. She looks you right in the eyes and says “thanks” for being her pal.
She is a 7-year old American Staffordshire Terrier with three legs and tons of heart. It is hard to say much about her background except someone carefully, surgically removed her leg, presumably to save her life at some point. Cassidy is used to being around other dogs and has friends at CompAnimals. She loves playing – along with the play comes a sense of humor and a sparkle in her eye. But she also has an intelligent, focused side– she is a joy to train because she takes treats gently.
This spunky girl immediately caught on to training such as sit, shake, down, watch, walk nicely and even K9 Nose Work. Where some dogs would take a few practices to get the hang, Cassidy understood on her first try that if she traces a scent, she gets a reward from one special box. This friendly girl will bring joy to someone’s life and is ready for some love and adventure to be brought into hers.
