“Raw Dog Food: Make It Easy for You and Your Dog” by Carina Beth MacDonald

Review by Holly Rybinski

This book is a quick, easy read and can continue to serve as an quick reference after the initial reading. The author has an upbeat, down-to-earth style and presents information in a way many can relate to. She provides straightforward instructions and covers all the bases needed to succeed. Youʼll know exactly what to buy, what it will look like, how much money to budget, and how your dogs will react. The author presents a cost comparison between a raw diet vs. a high-end dry food. The insight she provides matches our own experiences.

What is so fun about this book is it all seemed too good to be true, and now our experience has proven it is true! Soft shiny hair, less shedding, healthy teeth and nails, no allergies, healthy aging, less poop and generally more resilient dogs. Shifting to this diet does take getting used to, and this author does such a great job of removing the hype and letting you know to expect.
